Da Tiki Queen is a UPV/6-Pack

As a UPV or 6-pack, we are legally allowed to carry 6 passengers commercially. You will see more than 6 people in some of the photos, but they're friends & family, not commercial passengers. We are in the process of having Da Tiki Queen upgraded to a larger capacity, and anticipate this happening by Summer of 2024!

We are a commercially registered vessel in the state of Hawaii and have a commercial use permit issued by the DLNR (department of land and natural resources). We meet all their standards for safety, commercial insurance, and operation.

We can accommodate up to 12 guests under a bareboat charter agreement. Please contact us to learn more.

Responsible consumption of Alcohol

We want to see everyone have a good time, but alcohol consumption should be kept to reasonable levels. At the end of the day, the Captain is responsible for the lives of everyone on board, so the Captain will make any decision to end a cruise prematurely if there is excessive alcohol consumption.

We operate under the Federal jurisdiction of the US Coast Guard

The Coast Guard may make inquiries, examinations, inspections, searches, seizures, and arrests upon the high seas and waters over which the United States has jurisdiction, for the prevention, detection, and suppression of violations of laws of the United States.

As such, any criminal offences that occur on commercial vessels are prosecuted at the Federal level.

What's the cancellation policy?

The Captain can cancel the trip due to high winds or lighting prior to departure and you will receive a full refund.
Free cancellations until 5 days before the booking start date.
50% refund of booking charges for cancellations between 2-5 days before the booking start date.
Booking charges for cancellations within 2 days of the booking start date are non-refundable.

Can we go swimming?

Sorry, we do not offer swimming on Da Tiki Queen.

Where does Da Tiki Queen usually operate?

As a pontoon boat, we have to be extremely cautious about the ocean conditions before leaving the marina. Conditions with any winds other NE, wind speeds of more than 10 knots and with wind waves of more than 2 feet are not considered safe. Please check the weather forecast on the home page to get an estimate of what the conditions will be like.
